Account health, and why an account is "resting"
What Good, Fair and Weak mean in the Health column, which failures lower the score, why an account rests, how to Unlock, and when to use Never rest accounts.
Run many accounts and sooner or later one of them won't run smoothly: the Dola page keeps hanging, or its videos keep coming back short. Spider Hub tracks that with a health score and uses it to give work to the accounts that are doing well first. This article explains how the score works, why an account "rests", and when to unlock one yourself.
Reading the Health column
In Account Pool, the Health column shows a chip with a percentage:
| Chip | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Good (green) | Running well, at most one counted failure recently |
| Fair (amber) | A few failures have been counted |
| Weak (red) | Many counted failures; the app puts this account last |
Starting from 100%, the first counted failure takes an account to about 70% (still Good), the second to about 49% (Fair), the third to about 34% (Weak). The score never drops below 25%.
Hover over the health cell to see the latest incident and its time, what was just counted, and, if the account is resting, why and until when.
At 01:00 every day, every account goes back to 100%. An account that struggled yesterday starts this morning level with the rest.
What lowers the score, and what doesn't
The app only lowers the score when there's evidence the problem is that account's own:
| Lowers health | Doesn't lower health |
|---|---|
| Dola returned a video shorter than asked | Dola said the account is busy |
| This account's Dola page or browser keeps failing while other accounts still deliver videos | Your computer lost its internet connection |
| Dola refused the prompt or image | |
| Dola didn't start and the app opened a new chat | |
| Dola signed the account out | |
| Every account failed at once (computer asleep, browser crashed, disk full) |
The last row matters: when every account fails at the same moment, it's the computer, not the accounts, so nobody loses points. Same when you're offline: a failure while the computer can't reach Dola is never counted against an account.
If there's only one account, or all the others are resting or not signed in, the app has nobody to compare with. Then an account only loses points after 3 page failures within 30 minutes (while the computer is online).
Why an account is "resting"
A resting account takes no new shots. There are four common reasons:
- It used its 4 credits today. The row says it used 4/4 and rests until 01:00.
- Dola said it's out of runs or limited. Rests until 01:00.
- Dola didn't start in 10 new chats for one shot on this account. Rests until 01:00; the shot moves to another account.
- Repeated failures in a row. A short rest; the row says "Resting until 10:40 after repeated failures", then it comes back by itself.
The RESTING chip also appears on accounts that are still signed in fine but inside one of those rests. Resting isn't broken: most rests end at 01:00 or after a few minutes.
Unlocking a resting account
Need a resting account right now? Three ways:
- Unlock on that account's row.
- Unlock resting accounts (n) to unlock every resting account at once.
- Never rest accounts: a box that switches off the app's resting altogether, with a confirmation when you turn it on.
Unlocking an account does three things: back to READY, health back to 100%, and the app's 4-credit cap lifted for it until 01:00. The row says "Unlocked — no rest until 01:00" and the credits column shows "x / ∞". After 01:00 the normal rules apply again.
Never rest accounts unlocks every account each day, drops the short rests after failures, and keeps accounts from resting after 10 chats Dola didn't start (the shot still moves to another account as usual).
One thing doesn't change: when Dola itself says an account is out of runs or limited, it still rests, even with Never rest accounts on. Only the Unlock buttons (per row or all at once) override Dola's word, and that's your call.
How the app uses health to hand out work
When an Auto shot needs an account, the app ranks them like this:
- For 15 and 30 second videos: accounts that delivered a full-length video today, then untried accounts, then accounts Dola just refused a long video.
- Within the same group: healthier accounts first.
- Equal health: the account used less today, then the one idle longest.
An account at 90% and one at 100% count as equal, so work is shared out instead of piling onto one "perfect" account.
Reading a row, for example
Account acc-07 shows Fair 49%. Hover over it and the tooltip says the latest incident was at 22:14: Dola returned a video shorter than asked. 49% means two failures were counted recently. In short: the account still works, but the app will prefer others first. You don't need to do anything; at 01:00 it's back to 100%. If it keeps happening day after day, use Check → open that account's browser to look at the Dola page yourself.
Summary
- Health: Good, Fair, Weak with a percentage; every account returns to 100% at 01:00.
- Only short videos and repeated page failures on that one account lower the score.
- Busy, offline, content refusals and Dola not starting cost no points.
- Rests come from using 4 credits, Dola saying it's out of runs, 10 chats that didn't start, or repeated failures.
- Unlock resets an account to 100% and lifts the 4-credit cap until 01:00; only Unlock overrides Dola saying it's out of runs.
