How Dola credit works in Spider Hub
Each run counts 2 credits, up to 4 per account per day, reset at 01:00 Vietnam time. When credit is charged or refunded, and how to read the Credit line.
Understanding credit means knowing how many videos you can make in a day. This article explains how Spider Hub counts each Dola account's credit, when it is charged, when it is given back, and why the app's number sometimes differs from what Dola says.
First: whose credit?
Credit here means your Dola account's credit, not money you pay Spider Hub. A Spider Hub plan is priced by days, streams and accounts; there is no charge per video. Videos per day depend on how many Dola accounts you have.
Spider Hub does not sell Dola credit and cannot raise Dola's limits. It keeps its own tally so it knows which account still has runs, and so it never pushes an account past its allowance.
Three numbers to remember
| Rule | Value |
|---|---|
| Each video run | 2 credits, for every model and every length |
| Cap per account per day | 4 credits, so about 2 new videos |
| Reset time | 01:00 Vietnam time |
So 10 accounts give you about 20 runs a day. A 5-second and a 30-second video both count 2 credits per run in the app's tally, so choosing the longer length doesn't burn runs faster.
The golden rule: a video costs credit, no video costs nothing
Spider Hub applies one simple rule: a video means credit is spent; no video means the credit comes back. In detail:
| What happened | Credit |
|---|---|
| Dola finished a full-length video and the app saved it to the Library | 2 charged |
| Dola refused the prompt or image up front, nothing was made | Refunded |
| Dola didn't start (silence, a question, a temporary error) and the app opened a new chat | Refunded for every chat that didn't run |
| Dola made the video, then blocked it (copyright, a portrait) | Refunded, because there is no video |
| Dola started but the video didn't arrive in time | Refunded; if you later press Run again and the video is there, it is charged once |
| Dola returned a video shorter than asked | 2 charged, even though the video is deleted |
The last row needs a word. A short video is still a video Dola made, so Dola spent that run. The app has to download it to measure it, and a short one is deleted rather than saved. The account is still charged, and the card says so. So a shot can't keep eating credit, it stops as failed after 3 charged runs without a full-length video. See Why a video comes back shorter.
When the app treats Dola as "started"
The app only trusts real evidence on Dola's page: a credit line, an estimated finish time, a rendering card, or the video itself. A chat line that merely sounds like "starting now" without any of those does not count.
The "N credits" Dola writes in the chat is not used to change the app's tally either, because chat text doesn't always match what Dola actually did.
The "started" moment matters because from then on the app never sends the prompt again. Resending after Dola has started is the surest way to pay twice.
Reading the Credit line on a card
A failed or waiting shot's card has three lines; the second is about credit. The forms you'll meet:
- Credit: nothing charged — no run was counted.
- Credit: 2 charged — Dola spent one run on this shot.
- Credit: 2 refunded — nothing spent — something was counted, then all of it came back.
- Credit: 2 charged (4 refunded) — the shot's whole life: a few runs refunded, one charged.
The figure covers the shot's whole life, across every Run again. See also Reading the three-line error card.
The credits column in Account Pool
The credits-today column shows how much of the 4 each account has used. An account that used all 4 shows as resting until 01:00. An account you have Unlocked shows "x / ∞": the app lifts its 4-credit cap until 01:00.
What 01:00 resets
At 01:00 Vietnam time every day:
- Every account's credit tally goes back to 0.
- Accounts resting until 01:00 return to READY.
- Every account's health goes back to 100%.
- Shots that were waiting because no account was left today carry on.
A run Dola made yesterday whose video you only fetch today counts on the day Dola ran it, not against today's 4 credits.
A quick worked example
You have 6 accounts and 20 thirty-second shots:
- Today: 6 × 2 = about 12 runs. Say 11 videos come back full length and 1 comes back short (charged, deleted).
- 9 shots remain. They wait in the queue; nothing fails and nothing is spent.
- After 01:00: 12 more runs, enough for the remaining 9 with room for a re-run.
As plain arithmetic: 20 shots finished in one day correspond to about 10 accounts, not counting re-runs.
Summary
- Credit belongs to the Dola account; a Spider Hub plan has no per-video charge.
- 2 credits per run, at most 4 per account per day, reset at 01:00 Vietnam time.
- A video costs credit, no video costs nothing; a short video is still charged.
- Once Dola has started, the app never sends the prompt again.
- The Credit line on a card shows the charges and refunds over the shot's whole life.
- Dola always has the final word on limits.
