Pool Proxy: why use it, and why keys decide your streams
Pool Proxy gives every Dola account its own rotating Vietnamese IP: keys bought in the app, a fresh IP per shot, one key per account, and how many you need.
Pool Proxy gives every running account its own rotating Vietnamese IP key: one key per account, every shot starts on a fresh IP that has been tested against Dola, and the connection stays stable while Dola renders. This article covers when to turn it on, how to buy keys, and why the number of keys decides how many videos run at once.
Pool Proxy is off by default. With it off, the app runs exactly as before, over your own connection. The exact clicks are in the Pool Proxy section of the user guide.

When to turn it on
- You want each running account to have its own stable network path.
- You want every shot to start on a fresh IP that has been tested against Dola.
Pool Proxy can't guarantee Dola won't limit an account; that's outside the app's control. You are responsible for following Dola's terms (see the Terms of use, clause 3).
Buying keys
Open the Pool Proxy tab (just below Account Pool):
- Click Buy proxies at the top of the tab.
- Choose a 1, 7 or 30 day term (the price is shown on each tile) and how many keys.
- Pay inside the app, just like buying a plan.
- The keys appear by themselves in the Bought keys table. There's nothing to paste.
- Switch Pool Proxy On.
One key is one Vietnamese IP that changes by itself regularly (roughly every 15–30 minutes). Buying proxies doesn't need a paid plan; Free works too. Payments are not refundable.
Since version 1.0.26 the only way to add proxies is buying keys in the app. Proxies you added in an older version keep working and can still be turned off or deleted.
The key rule: one key, one account
A key serves one running account at a time and is never shared. The direct consequence:
With Pool Proxy on, the number of keys limits how many shots run at once.
Say you set 10 streams but have 3 keys: 3 shots run and 7 wait for a key to free up. They start by themselves when one does; nothing fails, nothing is sent, no credit is charged. Studio says "Waiting for a proxy for… — buy keys in Pool Proxy", and the Pool Proxy card tells you exactly how many more keys you need to run every stream.
| You want to run at once | You need at least |
|---|---|
| 3 videos | 3 keys |
| 10 videos | 10 keys |
| 20 videos | 20 keys, and at least 20 ready accounts |
A fresh IP for every shot
Before a shot starts, the app:
- Gives the account a free key, preferring the key whose IP was changed longest ago.
- Asks for a new IP on that key (changing IP costs nothing extra).
- Tests a connection from that IP to Dola. Only when it gets through does it open the account's browser.
If the key can't get a new IP, or the IP can't reach Dola, that key is set aside for now and the shot tries another free key a few seconds later. The provider only allows an IP change about once a minute, so a key that just finished a shot sometimes needs a short wait before the next one.
If no key works, the shot waits. With Pool Proxy on, the app never opens an account over your computer's own IP.
When an IP expires while Dola is rendering
A 30-second video can render for more than ten minutes, longer than an IP lives. When the IP expires mid-way, the app fetches a new IP on that same key, the account never jumps to another key, and the video carries on. If no IP is available for a moment, the shot waits, keeps its chat and credit, and only reads the chat back once there is one.
Signing in, checking and importing cookies with Pool Proxy on
Session checks, sign-in windows, Dola cookie imports and opening an account's browser also go through a key with a fresh IP. When shots are waiting for keys, these tasks give way and say: Jobs are waiting for a proxy key — try again after the video jobs finish.
Don't want to wait? Turn on Sign in without a proxy in the Pool Proxy tab. Sign-ins and checks then use your own connection; videos always go through the proxy.
Importing Facebook or Google cookies needs no key, since the app only writes the cookies into the profile and opens no page.
When keys expire
- The app warns you before a key runs out, and removes expired keys by itself.
- If Pool Proxy is on and no key is left, every shot waits. The app shows Proxy keys expired so you can buy more keys or Run without a proxy. Running without a proxy means every account reaches Dola from your own IP, which is exactly what Pool Proxy is there to avoid.
- Keys bought on this computer can be renewed while they're still valid.
Proxy passwords never appear on screen or in the logs.
Working out keys, for example
You have 24 accounts, the app says "≈ 10 smooth here", and you want to run overnight.
- Streams: 10 (limited by the computer).
- Keys: 10, so all 10 streams can run.
- About 2 videos per account per day → about 48 runs that day, spread over 10 streams.
Buy only 6 keys and the app runs 6 videos at a time; the other 4 streams wait for a key, costing nothing, just finishing later.
Summary
- Pool Proxy gives each account its own Vietnamese IP; it's off by default.
- Buy keys with Buy proxies in the tab; no paid plan needed; no refunds.
- One key per running account: keys limit how many shots run at once.
- Every shot starts on a fresh IP tested against Dola; with no working key the shot waits and never goes direct.
- Sign in without a proxy covers sign-ins and checks; videos always use the proxy.
