Running 200 shots overnight: plan it, press once, collect in the morning

Spider Hub was built for exactly this: paste a hundred prompts, press one button, go to bed, and find the videos waiting in a folder the next morning. For a big batch to run smoothly you need three numbers worked out in advance, and a sense of what the app does on its own when things go wrong. This article covers both.

Step 1: know your daily capacity

Spider Hub caps each account at 4 credits a day (2 per run), about 2 new videos, reset at 01:00. The Unlock button in Account Pool lifts the app's cap for that account until 01:00, but Dola still decides the real limit. So videos per day depend on how many accounts you have:

In other words, the shots finished in a day come to roughly your number of accounts times 2, minus re-runs (short videos, errors). Whatever goes beyond today's capacity waits in the queue and carries on by itself after 01:00: an Auto shot doesn't fail just because today's accounts ran out; it waits until after 01:00.

You are responsible for following Dola's terms (see the Terms of use, clause 3).

Step 2: choose your streams

The number of videos running at once is the smallest of:

• the STREAMS you set in Studio (within your plan's limit);
• ready accounts (one video per account at a time);
• your computer: the "≈ N smooth here" figure under STREAMS;
• proxy keys, if Pool Proxy is on.

Setting more streams than your computer can take doesn't make things faster. The app guards itself: before each new browser it checks free RAM (keeping about 1 GB back for the system) and CPU load; when the computer is full the shot waits, nothing is sent and no run is used. Studio gives the reason, for example "Only 1.2 GB of RAM free on this computer — new shots start when there is room".

Once Dola has started rendering, the app closes the heavy chat page and follows the video from a very light page, so each stream uses less RAM while it waits.

Step 3: paste and press

1. Create a project for this batch (the + next to the project name).
2. Click Paste Batch and paste the prompts, one per line with a blank line between. Up to 200 prompts per paste.
3. Check the defaults: model, ratio, duration, streams, save folder.
4. Click Generate all.

In the Task Queue, waiting shots show their place and an estimate, like "#12 in line · about 40 min".

What the app handles during the night

This is what lets you sleep. The app's principle: no shot waits while a stream is free.

Dola says an account is busy or out of credit

The shot moves to another account at once, and it doesn't count as a failed try. If every other account is busy, the shot waits about 5 seconds and whichever account frees up first takes it. Only when there really is no usable account left does it wait longer, or until 01:00.

Dola doesn't start

Dola stays silent, asks a question, or reports a temporary error without making anything. The app gives the run back, leaves the chat and opens a new chat on the same account with the same prompt, images and settings. Up to 10 chats per shot per account. After 10, that account rests until 01:00 and the shot moves to another account, with 10 more chats there.

If every account that could take the shot today has had its 10 chats and Dola still hasn't started, the shot stops as Dola did not start this shot, with nothing charged. It doesn't restart by itself at 01:00; press Run again when you want.

Dola asks a question

For 5, 10 and 15 second shots the app waits 20 seconds (Dola often starts by itself), then answers once, confirming the exact length and a single video. For a 30-second shot the app never answers; it opens a new chat as above.

The video comes back short

The app deletes it, notes that the account was charged, and runs the shot again on another account. After 3 charged runs without a full-length video the shot stops so it can't keep spending credit. See Why a video comes back shorter.

Dola takes a long time to render

The app follows Dola's own estimate and extends the wait as long as Dola still shows a rendering card: up to 45 minutes for a 30-second video, 30 minutes for other lengths. Each shot also has a cap on real working time with Dola (60 minutes for 30 seconds, 40 for the rest); time spent in the queue doesn't count.

Dola changes its interface in the middle of the night

If Dola changes its interface and no account can produce a video, the app pauses the whole queue rather than letting 200 shots fail one by one, and shows the banner Dola just changed — the queue is paused. If even one account still produces videos, the app knows Dola is working and doesn't pause. In the morning, click Resume queue once things look right.

Before you go to bed

• Turn off sleep while the batch runs, and keep a laptop plugged in. A sleeping computer stops the browsers; the app never blames accounts for the computer's problems, but the batch slows down.
• Don't click or type in any account's browser window while shots are running. The app can't tell who typed.
• Glance at the Dashboard: the Needs you card lists accounts that need a sign-in, failed shots, resting accounts and shots waiting for a proxy key.
• Want a ping when a video is done? Turn on Telegram in Studio; alerts go through your own Telegram bot.

The next morning

1. Open the Task Queue and pick FAILED in the status filter (or filter Failed right in Studio).
2. Shots that failed for temporary reasons: click Run all failed shots again. Shots Dola refused for their content are left alone (fix them with Edit and run).
3. Open the Video Library for your files, or go straight to the save folder.

A real night, for example

30 accounts, the app says "≈ 12 smooth here", Pool Proxy off, 80 thirty-second shots.

• Streams: 12. Twelve videos run side by side at any moment.
• Today's capacity: 30 × 2 = about 60 runs.
• Tonight: about 55 full 30-second videos, with a few runs coming back short or moving accounts.
• About 25 shots wait in line and carry on by themselves after 01:00, when the accounts reset. Start the batch in the evening and these run during the rest of the night.

Summary

• Each account makes about 2 videos a day, so videos per day depend on how many accounts you have.
• Videos at once = the smallest of (streams, ready accounts, your computer, proxy keys).
• A full computer makes shots wait at no cost; whatever exceeds today's capacity waits until after 01:00.
• Dola busy → another account at once; Dola not starting → a new chat, up to 10 per account.
• Turn off sleep, don't touch account windows; in the morning filter the failed shots and Run all failed shots again.
