Reading the three-line error card: what happened, credit, account

Every failed shot card says three things: what happened, whether credit was charged or refunded, and what the app did to the account. Here is how to read it.

A shot failing at three in the morning is only worrying if you don't know what it cost and whether the account is all right. So every failed shot card (and every waiting card after a try) in Spider Hub says exactly three things, in plain words, with no Japanese from Dola and no technical codes. This article shows how to read each line.

How a card is laid out

At the top is a short error title, such as Dola made the wrong length or Dola page did not answer. Below it are three lines:

  1. What happened
  2. Credit
  3. Account

At the bottom are the buttons that make sense for that error, plus Copy error. Cards in Studio and the detail panel in the Task Queue use the same three lines.

Line 1: what happened

One sentence saying what took place, for example:

  • Dola did not start the video in this chat.
  • Dola's video came back shorter than asked, so it was deleted, not saved.
  • Dola refused the prompt or the reference images before making anything.
  • Dola started, but no video came in time. Run again reads the chat and saves the video if it has arrived — nothing is sent again.

On a waiting shot this line is the app's latest decision, such as Dola did not start the video — a new chat opens on the same account, followed by Spider Hub tries again by itself. That means there's nothing for you to do.

Line 2: credit

This line adds up the shot's whole life, across every Run again:

You seeMeaning
Credit: nothing chargedNo run was counted
Credit: 2 chargedDola spent one run on this shot
Credit: 2 refunded — nothing spentSomething was counted, then all of it came back
Credit: 2 charged (4 refunded)Overall: one run charged, two runs refunded

The rule behind it: a video costs credit, no video gets it back; a short video is the exception and is still charged. Details in How Dola credit works.

Line 3: account

This line says what the app did to the account after that run. Common forms:

You seeMeaning
Account 'acc-03': not affected — this computer was offline, which never counts against an accountYour computer's connection was the problem
Account 'acc-03': not affected — Dola not starting a chat never counts against an accountRoutine, no penalty
Account 'acc-03': Dola said busy — health unchangedThe account was busy; the shot moved on
Account 'acc-03': health lowered to 70%The failure was counted against this account
Account 'acc-03': not counted — the other accounts failed too, so it looks like this computer, not the accountEveryone failed at once: the computer, no penalty
Account 'acc-03': not counted yet — too few failures to blame the accountA one-off, not enough evidence yet
Account 'acc-03': Dola says it is out of credits — it rests until 01:00The account rests; the shot moves on
Account 'acc-03' rests until 01:00 — Dola did not start in 10 new chats on it (health not lowered)10 chats used up, the account rests
Account 'acc-03' is signed out of Dola — sign it in again in Account PoolYou need to sign it in again

A shot from a very old version may say Account: not recorded (a job from an older version).

Buttons on a failed card

A card only shows the buttons that fit the error:

  • Run again — runs that same shot again. If the shot still holds a Dola chat, the app only reads the chat to fetch the video; it doesn't resend the prompt or charge again.
  • Edit and run — opens the card in place so you can change the prompt or images, keeping the shot number. For a shot Dola refused for its content, this is the only button.
  • A button to Account Pool when the error needs you to sign in again or verify.
  • A button to Plans when the length isn't in your plan.

For some errors where Dola may already have received the request, Run again asks first, so you can check the account's Dola history and avoid paying twice.

A failed shot has no Create similar (that's only on finished shots).

Copy error

Copy error copies one complete block to send to support: the app version and time, the shot's id, the account, the status and error code, the shot number with length, ratio and model, the title and the three lines above, the original error, and the last message from Dola or the app. Paste it straight into Telegram for @spiderhub_boss.

Reading a card, for example

Card #14, titled Dola made the wrong length:

  • Dola's videos came back shorter than asked 3 times; they were deleted, not saved.
  • Credit: 6 charged
  • Account 'acc-11': health lowered to 49%

In plain terms: this shot was tried 3 times, each time Dola returned a short video, each costing 2 credits, and the app stopped so it wouldn't spend more. The last account lost health points. What to do: check the prompt against A prompt formula for 30-second videos, use Edit and run to change the prompt, or Run again to try more with a fresh count.

Summary

  • A failed card has a short title and three lines: what happened, credit, account.
  • The credit line adds up the shot's whole life.
  • The account line says whether the app penalised, spared or rested the account, and why.
  • Run again only reads the chat when the shot still holds one; Edit and run fixes it in place.
  • Copy error gives you exactly the block to send to support.
