Spider Shot Pro: a 30-second cinematic shot

Spider Shot Pro makes exactly one 30-second video per prompt, on paid plans. The steps, the one-time job in Account Pool and what to do if a video is short.

Spider Shot Pro is the mode for a single 30-second shot: you write one prompt, press create and get exactly one 30-second Seedance 2.5 video. It comes with the paid plans, and on a paid plan every shot in Spider Shot is a Pro shot. Free can still make 30-second clips in the normal mode.

How to use it

  1. The first time, open Account Pool and click Install skills (see the section below).
  2. Open Spider Shot and click Add Shot. On a paid plan the card is already a 30-second Pro shot: there is no model or Pro box to choose.
  3. Choose the aspect ratio.
  4. Write the prompt. How to write it is in A prompt formula for 30-second videos: describe the shot from start to finish, with the light and the camera style.
  5. Add reference images if you need them (see Reference images).
  6. Click Generate this shot.

The shot card runs like any other: WAITING, PROCESSING, then COMPLETED. How long it takes depends on Dola; let the app wait. The finished video sits right on the card and in the Video Library. A Pro shot gives exactly one video, never several clips. The Spider Shot screen is summarised in the user guide.

Want 5-, 10- or 15-second clips too?

In Settings, right under the streams box, there is an option to also allow shorter shots in Spider Shot (off by default). Turn it on and Spider Shot offers 5, 10, 15 and 30 seconds again, as on Free, and a 30-second card gets a Pro box so you can pick a Pro or a regular shot.

Once only: Install skills

Spider Shot Pro needs your accounts to be prepared once. Open Account Pool and click Install skills: the app opens each account that hasn't been prepared yet, writes the status on the account's row, and you can click Stop part way. If an account isn't done, click Install skills again a few minutes later. Spider Shot Pro runs on the accounts in the ACC SHOT group.

If you create a Pro shot before that, the card says The Spider skill is not installed, nothing was sent and no credit was used; install, then run it again.

When a video comes out shorter than 30 seconds

A video shorter than 30 seconds is not saved to the Library, and the card says so (the title Dola made the wrong length). See Why a video comes back shorter than asked.

When today's Pro limit is reached

If Dola says today's Pro limit is reached, the card reads Dola's Pro limit is used up for today and no video was made. Come back after 01:00 and click Run again.
